Trusted Guidance
As a Holistic Life Coach, I take the approach that all things are connected, but many of those connections can be very difficult to see. In my work with clients, I focus on three main areas: Awareness, Acceptance, Integration.
Awareness
There is so much about our deep unconscious selves that we are simply unaware of. Why do I like this thing but not that thing? Why do I get triggered? Why is it so hard to break certain habits and develop new ones? Why do other people always seem to let me down? Coaching is a way to gain clarity into the inner workings of your mind as a way of bringing greater awareness into the unconscious stories and programs that makes you tic.
Acceptance
It is one thing to become aware of your unconscious programming, but what if you really don’t like what you find? In my experience, this is the very reason why so many of us suppress, repress, deny, and project our thoughts and feelings onto others. We judge what we don’t like and distance ourselves from it. It is noteworthy that in the Biblical story of Adam and Eve, the paradise they lived in ended once their eyes became open to ideas of “good vs. evil.” Once they began judging rather than accepting, life got much more challenging. There are some deep psychological truths to be learned here.
Integration
When you become aware of your unconscious programming and accept that it is yours – not someone else’s – then you can more easily release unnecessary judgment that removes you from your own internal paradise. This does not mean that you will stop judging. It means that you will change your relationship with your judgment. Things will become less confusing and less frustrating. Artistic expression is an excellent integration tool to reinforce your awareness and acceptance. Many of my clients write, paint, dance, make music, or find other creative ways of expressing what they are learning about themselves. Integrative artistic expression can transform pain and suffering into beautiful joyful gifts.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do you mean by “healing?”
Healing, in my context, refers to achieving a sense of wholeness, balance, peacefulness, and empowerment. It’s about liberating yourself from negative thoughts rooted in past and present trauma.
How is Life Coaching different from therapy?
Life coaching primarily differs from therapy in terms of education and licensure. As a life coach, I focus more on goal setting and future-focused personal growth, while therapists often deal with mental health issues.
Why are you a Life Coach instead of a licensed therapist?
My journey towards helping others began later in life and it started with life coaching, a profession I’ve fallen in love with. Currently, I’m pursuing a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to further broaden my capacity to support my clients.
Do you observe the ACA (American Counseling Association) code of ethics?
Absolutely. As a counselor-in-training, the ACA Code of Ethics is my guide for professional and ethical client interactions. I also observe the ICF (International Coaching Federation) Code of Ethics.
How much do you charge for coaching?
What is group coaching?
What is NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)?
NLP is an experimental set of guidelines and techniques that can help a client better understand the language of their own brain.
What is hypnosis? Isn’t it kind of dangerous?
What is Timeline Therapy™?
It is a technique that takes you back to a past traumatic event as a way to reframe and release negative emotions associated with that event.
What is an Akashic Reading?
It is a deeply intuitive story we create together in session that can provide a powerful framework for the life that you want to live. The “Akashic Record” is one of many traditional descriptions for the idea that the eternal intelligence of all living things is accessible through open-hearted imaginative exploration of mind.
Can you help me with my anxiety and depression?
Yes. Techniques like Timeline Therapy™ can be especially helpful to identify and release past traumas that contribute to anxiety and depression.
Can you help me overcome addictions?
Depending on the severity of the addiction, I can use tools like hypnosis and guided meditations to assist in overcoming addiction.
Do you work with couples on conflict resolution?
Yes, I have experience working with couples and can provide valuable guidance on conflict resolution.
You say that you help clients find peaceful balance between heart and mind – and you do it with warmth, humor, playfulness, and creativity. How can “warmth, humor, playfulness and creativity” fix my problems?
I believe humor, warmth, playfulness, and creativity are powerful tools for self-reflection. They allow us to see things from a different perspective, reduce stress, and bring joy to the process. By infusing these elements into our sessions, we can tackle challenges in a balanced, uplifting, and healing way.

I appreciate how much I learned about myself through coaching because I really do think it has been what has kept me afloat… I mean, not always afloat, but I feel like the way we explored my exposed wounds in coaching has given me the stamina to keep looking at a lot of things that are burning and then choose which ones that need to burn out completely. And also appreciating the light and dark expressions of it all. So it is the gift that keeps giving.

I’ve felt a 100% shift in my mindset and mood and overall contentment over the last few weeks of coaching with Glenn. Even my wife mentioned this week how she’s noticed a massive change in me. How I’m interacting with our kids, towards work, towards myself, others, and I know our “deeper insights” coaching sessions have been integral. I’m filled with gratitude…my cup runneth over. Thanks Glenn!

Glenn’s Story
Born into a multi-generational Mormon family, my journey started with humble roots and high hopes. I served as a missionary in Japan, then pursued my interest in folklore and mythology at Indiana University. I was on the path to becoming a professor and a writer, but life had different plans.
When an unexpected opportunity led me back to Japan to work in the corporate healthcare world, I embraced it. For 13 years, I traveled the globe and enjoyed the bustle of corporate life, based in vibrant Tokyo. However, life had its twists and turns in store for me.
A series of personal losses and changes – from my parents’ divorce, the loss of a close friend, my faith crisis, my own divorce, growing disillusioned with with my corporate job – led me into what is often referred to as a “dark night of the soul.”
Amidst this turmoil, podcasting became my beacon. In 2012, I co-founded “Infants on Thrones,” a podcast that connected me with others navigating their own life challenges. Through sharing stories and perspectives, my understanding of human experiences deepened, and my humor evolved into a tool for self-exploration, rather than a mechanism for ridiculing others.
This transformation sparked my interest in psychology, mental health, and neuroscience. I dove deep into the realms of Cognitive Distortions and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and saw how reshaping my thoughts drastically altered my perception of myself and others. I learnt to respect all beliefs and became an advocate of promoting acceptance over criticism.
In 2020, I penned a book titled “Bathing with God,” which amalgamates my fascination for quantum mechanics and spirituality. The book mirrors the internal dialogue between my skeptical and imaginative selves and outlines my journey towards integrating critical thinking with divine acceptance. This book serves as a testament to my belief in the power of acceptance and understanding, the guiding principles that inform my coaching approach.
